Traxxas T-Maxx with OS .40 4-Stroke
For a short time, OS made a .40 four stroke motor specifically for land vehicles (as opposed to airplanes). It came with a pull starter and inadequate cooling, but boy was it cool.

Tamiya Hot Shot (1984, 2007)

Tamiya Renault Alpine A110 (1995)
A very cool looking, and unusual, car. The Alpine A110 was a rally car that raced in the famous Monte Carlo Rally in 1971.

Tamiya Jaguar X JR-12 (1991, 2005)

Tamiya Lancia 037 Rally (1983, 2001)
This one gets my vote for “most improved Tamiya re-issue”, after replacing the ungainly Frog chassis-based Lancia of the early 80’s.
