Archos 5 Firmware Update – GPS Fix?

Ever since my debacle with the Archos GPS cradle, I’ve given up on using the Archos 5 as a GPS device. On April 9, Archos released a firmware update for the Archos 5. One of the updates listed in the release notes is “GPS Car Holder Support”. I have no idea what that means, but maybe, just maybe it fixes the activation issue.

RSS Feed Working Again

I fixed a problem with the RSS feed, so it should work now. It was generating some XML errors, but they have been resolved.

WordPress Plugin – Poster Gal

I’ve been working for the past several days on a plugin for WordPress blogging software (what I use for rcgrabbag.com). The plugin is designed to pull random photos from one’s blog and make a thumbnail gallery from a predefined number of random images. (more…)
