Nice photoreport of your italian trip ! You are good at shooting photos. I read it all and watched it with a stranger’s eye, even while I live 20 kms from Venice and often go there ’cause my grandma still lives there. I like Venice, but watching the city from a stranger’s eye gives her a new “flavour”. I’ll return there soon, as we often forget how many beauties we have near our houses, or we say “I’ll go there sooner or later, it’s just 30 mins…” and then you never go. Next time you come to Italy don’t forget to take the boat to Murano and watch how glass is created there: fascinating ! Greetings from Italy from a reader of your website, which is full of interesting infos (I am a passionate RC modeler). Have a nice 2008 !
Hi Cristiano, thanks for the kind words. I’ve been to a few European countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France) and Italy has so far been my favorite. So much deep history and diversity. Yes, get back to Venice soon! Life is short, so take advantage of every opportunity, especially so close to home. Can’t wait to go back to your country. Maybe in 2-3 years. Have a wonderfrul 2008!

My parents are from and living Piacenza, but I was born and am living in London. I really enjoyed your spendid views of Venice! Got the link from Tamiyaclub (my username dinodog) but when I saw your Italian link I couldn’t resist a look! I can recommend Cinque Terre but more for great views and sea air. Tank Forum pretty good on rcuniverse (dinodog as well!) Have you looked at the Military SIG? Have a great New Year Dino.
Hi Dino, thanks for the info. I’ll check out those other forums. I have a ton more photos of our Italy trip, but it takes a while to process and post them.
